When a “for sale” sign appeared out front of Seattle’s famous Egan House in the Spring of 2024, I knew I had the subject for the pilot episode of The City Edition: Seattle. Designed by Robert Reichert during the mid-20th century, the home was a perfect example of the kind of architecture that makes Seattle special.A cold call to the realtor led me to partner with Historic Seattle as well as two other local architecture experts to help create the pilot episode.
I’m still waiting on high res photos and archival video before posting the Reichert pilot. Please contact me if you’d like to see a sneak preview.
I’m currently developing the second episode with Historic Seattle about the central district’s Washington Hall.
