Northwest Regional Emmys - June 7, 2025


Below is a complete list of short-form documentaries I edited that were nominated for Northwest Regional Emmys while I worked at Seattle’s Cascade PBS (2020–2025). They’re ordered by production year from most recent back to 2021, the first year my work was eligible. Wins are shown in bold with the category.


2025 - 2 Nominations. Awards Ceremony on May 30, 2026.

  • Arts/Entertainment - Short Form Content. The Nosh-A restaurant wokking tour through Seattle’s CID. David Quantic, Editor.

  • Editor, Short Form Content - General Craft Category. For the third year in a row, I was nominated in the editor’s general craft category that recognizes overall achievement.

2024 - 4 Nominations, 1 Win

  • Cultural/Historical Documentary. Asahel: The Curtis Collection - Win. Editor & Co-Producer.

  • Historical/Cultural - Short Form Content. “Three Problem Bodies” - Mossback’s Northwest, Season 10, Episode 5. Editor & Animation Director.

  • Arts/Entertainment - Short Form Content. “Bagel Boom” - The Nosh with Rachel Belle. Season 1, Episode 1. Title Animator and Editing Consultant.

  • Editor, Short Form Content - General Craft Category. For the second year in a row, I was nominated in the editor’s general craft category that recognizes overall achievement.

2023 - 4 Nominations, 2 Wins

  • WIN - Environment/Science - Short Form Content. “The Range Rider” - Human Elements, Season 4, Episode 3. Win. Editor

    Two episodes of Mossback’s Northwest eighth season were nominated in the same category with one win.

  • WIN - Historical/Cultural - Short Form Content. “The Day Germany Bombed Seattle” - Mossback’s Northwest, Season 8, Episode 5. Editor & Animation Director.

  • Historical/Cultural - Short Form Content. “The First Around the World Flight” - Mossback’s Northwest, Season 8, Episode 1. Editor & Animation Director.

  • Editor, Short Form Content - General Craft Category. For this nomination, I submitted a 15 min. clip reel composed of content I edited during 2023. This was the first year I submitted a reel for a general craft category.



2022 - 4 Nominations, 1 Win

Three episodes of Mossback’s Northwest were nominated in 2023 with one win.

  • WIN - Historical/Cultural - Short Form Content. “Wyatt Earp in Seattle,” Season 6, Episode 4. Editor.

  • Historical/Cultural - Short Form Content. “Northwest Dog Heroes,” Season 5, Episode 6. Editor & Animation Director.

  • Historical/Cultural - Short Form Content. “The Panama Hotel,” Season 6, Episode 1. Editor.

  • Interview/Discussion. ​​Crosscut Festival Mainstage - Retelling Our American History with Nikole Hannah-Jones. This title is not available on YouTube but you can watch it HERE.



2021 - 2 Nominations

  • Environment/Science - Short Form Content. “What’s in a Name?” - Deeply Rooted, Season 1, Episode 4. Editor.

Two Mossback episodes were combined into one submission that were nominated together.

  • Historical/Cultural - Short Form Content. Season 5, Episode 1: “DB Cooper: Folk Hero or Terrorist?” and Season 5, Episode 2: “Sea Serpents of the Salish Sea.”



2021 - 4 Nominations

  • Documentary - Topical. Senior Year Was Crazy. Editor. An original 30 min. documentary about the COVID pandemic and its effect on the life of one Seattle family. This title is not available on YouTube but you can stream it HERE.

    Two Mossback's Northwest episodes were combined into one submission.

  • Historical/Cultural - Short Form Content. “Seattle’s Dustbin,” Season 3, Episode 4. Editor.

  • Historical/Cultural - Short Form Content. “The Northwest Outlaw They Couldn't Capture,” Season 4, Episode 4. Editor.

  • Business/Consumer - Short and Long Form Content; Cattle Ranchers Face the Pandemic” - The New Normal, Season 2, Episode 3. Editor.
