I had the pleasure of creating a comedy sketch celebrating the 20th anniversary of Dan Savage’s HUMP! Film Festival.
Dan is a nationally syndicated sex-advice columnist and host of the popular Savage Love podcast. His HUMP! festival (produced by Index Media LLC) features short-form, adult-themed films that are all under 5 minutes long. In addition to serving on the jury and managing the submission video files, I was also asked to write a short film with three parts: an on-camera welcome from Dan, a section celebrating the 20th anniversary and an instructional video that articulates rules for audience etiquette during the fest.
After writing a first draft, I collaborated with Dan agreed to appear on camera as the “host” of a fictional video from The HUMP! Academy of Pornographic Pictures.
