I shot and edited a series of short documentary segments about the creation of the 82nd Academy Awards in 2010. I was given exclusive access to the designers, dancers, choreographers and producers, including Adam Shankman and Bill
Mechanic.
I shot using only a Sony V1-U with an on board mic and light. It was a challenge and, sometimes, the look and sound weren’t as polished as I would like, but I’m proud of the results. A big thanks to my producer, Katy Leigh and Automat’s Jeffrey Schwarz for giving me this amazing opportunity.
